Crimson Trend

So I have heard about the trend of crimson going around and I thought that I would give you guys a couple of ideas!

You can wear red nails which is the easiest way to sport this trend. Next is red lips and this can be tricky but is very simple once you learn how! Then I would suggest clothing. I love wearing crimson clothes because it brings out my blue eyes. But make sure that the red is in a shirt, shoes, accessories, but not the pants. I you feel that red pants looks OK on you, go ahead, but I dont think it looks good on many people. Another way is to use a crimson blush. It sounds ridiculous but if you lightly dab the powder, tab off the excess and gently sweep right above the hollows of you cheek, it would look very nice and pretty. The hardest way to sport red and crimson is eyeshadow. I don't have any red eyeshadow, but I know that AllThatGlitters21 on YouTube and elleandblair.com have a couple of ideas. I just say don't go all out and slather red on your eye. Lightly but noticeable or less is more applies to this trend!

luv y'all!

Haul-16 I'm Not Spoiled!

Trust me I know it looks like I get anything I want or have a large income but I don't! My mommy was nice enough to get me some stuff just because it was cheap or I needed it! An this is accumulative! I did not buy all of this at once!!!!! :P

Face: Sam's Club; Walmart; Safeway
  • Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock in SPF 55 Kit-$14: This came with Two full sized sunblocks, a lip balm, and a mini sunblock. My mom said she would get me the sunblock because it was essential and considering that usually one full size is $14-15!
  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Scrub-$9: Now this comes with a lip gloss and 3 more ounces than the $7 one. I thought that it was a great investment.
  • Nivea Kiss of Smoothness Lip Balm-$1: This is always $3 and it was on sale so I purchased it and cant wait to try it out!
Books: My mom got these because a. they were on sale for really cheap and b. They were needed for school. Barnes and Noble
  • Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte-$8: This was a book that my mom has read twice. The book itself is 524 pages long.
  • A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens-$8: I thought that the cover looked interesting and I realized it was from Charles Dickens so I asked my mom for it and she said yes but just because they are school books! The book is 372 pages long so not very long but reasonable.
  • Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen-FREE:There was a Buy 2 get 1 free deal so now I have my very own copy. My mom has read this 3 going on 4 times. It is 375 pages so it is not long.
Other: Target; Walmart
  • ELF Studio Couture Brush-$3: This is my holy grail brush. 'Nuff said.
  • ELF Eyelash Curler-$1: My other one lost its sponge so now I have two!
  • Heart Stickers-$.75: CLEARANCE!
I cant think of anything else so I think this is it! I will have another Accomplished Item up sometime soon! luv y'all!

Stuff I Finished!

Hey everyone! I cant wait to share this with y'all and I guess it is kinda an update but I recently ran out of so many things!

  • Clean and Clear Skin Brightening Morning Burst Face Wash: whew! that was long. This was around $5 at Walmart and lasted my from mid-May to mid-September a.k.a. 4 months! Replacement: Equate Naturally Beaming Foaming Face Wash. WARNING: This does not foam much.

  • Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Exfoliant: This was $3-4 at Walmart and also lasted me 4 months. Wanted Replacement: Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Cleansing Scrub.

  • Olay Skin Regenerist Deep Cleansing Cream Wash: I really liked this but my skin got used to it so I had to change it up. When I used it again, it worked so well and I really liked it!

  • Pond's Skin Cream: This is very good and I only have a few more uses so I decided to include it! I need to find a replacement. The Clean and Clear Morning Glow moisturizer has A TON of GLITTER!!!!!!!! I look ridiculous!!!!! but I must use it :P
I am not sure if there is anything else but that is it for now! luv yall!

OMG! No More Makeup?!?!?

Thats right people. I am not going to buy any makeup for 9-12 months! I started the first of this month and forgot to tel you...But my mom and besties don't think that I can pull this off, so I guess I can prove them wrong...lol So I will explain what I may and may not buy.

May Buy: I can still buy stuff like nail polish (not makeup), hair products (not makeup), and tools of any sort. I will accept gifts and stuff (not that I am asking) because I don't want to be rude. I may also buy lip balm and skin care.

May Not Buy: makeup as in lipsticks, lipgloss, primers, mascara (Ikd how this will work; both of mine are 2 months old.....), eyebrow stuff, eyeliner, etc. Ummm...Soooo....Yeeeaahh....lol

So this is my idea and it started September 1 but I kept on forgetting to post it! luv yall

Haul 15-Artist Stuff

Here is the first haul that I have done in AGES!!! So today I went to Michael's and got some awesome art supplies!

First I got some cork. The peices are shaped like flowers and I thought that I could do something interesting with it! It was on sale for 79 cents! To good of a deal to give up.

Then I went in to the store and got what I was looking for...I was looking for a kneadable earaser for my art class and I found a couple different ones. First I found a small earaser for about $1.69. Then I found one that was three times the size for only $2.00. Then my mom found a three pack for $2.50 that had the following: the small kneadable earaser, a cube of gum earaser for graphite pencil, and a third that was a plastic earaser for graphic and colored pencil. I was so happy to find this because it was a great deal!

Then I got some blending stumps: 2 large, 2 small, and 2 different kinds of medium. These are very nice and were only $2.29!

Accomplished Item # 26- Emily Windsnap

26. Emily Windsnap Series by Liz Kessler:
  • The Tail of Emily Windsnap: I loved this book and I couldn't wait until I could start the next one! I thought that the whole girl to mermaid thing was sooo cute and I was happy that there was more to come! I feel that first books of a series should draw you in the most so you will read other books too! I loved this. 10/10
  • Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep: This was an amazing book also. It made a great sequel and I loved Mandy and Emily's relationship when the book was done. I though that it was a really easy and the easiest out of all four books. This one also left me wanting more, thus I started the next book within two minutes of finishing the first. 10/10
  • Emily Windsnap and the Castle in the Mist: This was the shortest book of them all but was packed with just as much story! I can see how Liz Kessler was planning on this being the end but, guess what? I wanted another one too! It was a quick read but it is also meaningful, thought provoking and perfect for summer reading because it is not very easy but still easy enough. Introducing a couple new characters never hurt a book anyway. 10/10
  • Emily Windnap and the Siren's Secret: This was the meaty one. It took me soooo long to get through this book! Not because it was bad just because 1. it was so long, 2. because I was so busy and 3. because it was so complicated. I still loved this book and I think that it was the perfect ending to an awesome series with relationships, family, and adventure. 9/10
This book gets 10/10 luv y'all!

Make the Most of Your: Mascara

How to Make the Most of Your Mascara:
lashblast_luxe_mascara_1.jpg
If your mascara is 3 months old but there is till a lot left in the tube, go ahead a use it but not from root to tip.  You can apply it on just the upper thirds of your lashes so it does not touch your skin. This is what i did today and my eye pain has gone away! so if you are like me and dont want to buy a new mascara, especially if you promised yourself that you would not buy makeup for 8-9 months, then this tip will definatlly help you save that cash! Make sure you try this with the more high end and department store brand so that you save A LOT! luv you giis! Tell me what to do in the comments!

Brrrrrrr!

the Best Restful Relaxing Reviving Refreshing Rockin' Relizationalizing season is fall. Here are the things I am looking forward to in autumn:
1. Crispy air that nips your nose! I love this because it is refreshing and reviving!
2. Hot drinks. I love cocoa, coffee, and tea! I love cocoa with whipped cream and coffee with regular cream. And tea is just awesome so yeah. The feeling of something warm is wonderfully relaxing.
3. Reading books with a cat, tea, and a warm nook! This is the best feeling of fall because, well, do I have to explain?
4. Piling huge fluffy blankets on your bed. I love the feeling of lots of blankets on me right before I fall asleep.
5. The darker nail polish colors! I adore red, brown, silver, and green colors on my nails. I have one dark green, a wonderful silver, a couple great reds, and a really pretty brown. It looks sophisticated.
6. Fuzzy socks and slippers! There is this hot pink pair of fuzzy socks that i own and I love them! but I never wore them because it was always too hot.
7. Fall scents. I love i love cinnamon, cookie, pumpkin, and spicey scents. I have a great candle that i cant wait to burn.
8. The makeup that you can wear in the fall is very great. I love red lips, smokey eyes and brownish orangy colors for everything...
9. The last thing that I love about fall is the TV shows that start! I love So You Think You Can Dance? that starts in the summer but I like the X Factor and American Idol in the fall. Also there is Fringe and other stuff too.

Contact Care-What to Do and What Not!

Contacts

What to Do:

  1. Do replace the solution you put your contacts in at night every time! The salt in the solution rises to the top so when you put your contacts in the water, it grabs all the salt before going into the water. Then you experience an unsatisfying burn in the morning!

  2. Do ask your optometrist about using a hydrogen peroxide soak. I prefer to use Clean Care for my contacts 2-3 times a week. How it works: imagine a deflated balloon. Then you paint it and let it dry. Then when you blow up the balloon, the paint peels off. Your contact is the balloon and debris that sticks to it is the paint.

  3. If the contacts are still uncomfortable, ask to try 1-day contacts

What to Not Do:

  1. Don't be harsh! If you are ripping your contact out and stabbing it in, then you should try not. This wear the contact out and promote breaking.

  2. Don't sleep with the contacts in. Surprisingly, it actually dries them out.

  3. Do not Swim with contacts unless you wear 1-days and are about to go to bed after swimming

I hope this helped you guys! Luv u!

Glasses Care-What to Do and What Not!

Glasses

What to Do:

  1. Do get a case because it will protect the lenses from getting scratched. I try to keep mine in my purse(with my glasses)because I wear contacts. Make sure that you put the glasses in the case everynight.

  2. Make sure you wash them frequently! You can wash them in the shower of when you wash your face!

  3. Get some attachable sunglasses to help with driving and to prevent crowsfeet.

What Not to Do:

  1. Dont leave them lying around. This will lead to scratches and nicks which sucks!

  2. Do not get glasses that are darker than your hair color because it can atract attention to your eyes and away from your gorgeous face!

hope these enjoyed!

Review: Drama Clean Conditioner Herbal Essences

Drama Clean Conditioner by Herbal Essences: 10/10
Claims: To not add oiliness, lightweight, doesn't weigh down. The Conditioner met all of the claims. My hair was flouncy all day! 2/2
Scent: Green Tea and flowers. The Green tea scent is definatly there but it is calmed by a definite scent of flowers. 2/2
Texture of Product: The texture was perfect. It was creamy but not thick and it was so refreshing. 2/2
Texture of Hair: This left my hair shiny, soft, and over all flouncy for a long period of time! I didn't even have to wash my hair some days!! hehe! My hair was BEAUTIFUL! 2/2
Performance: With awesome texture, smoothness, and moisture, I think that the performance was amazing. 2/2

Love yall! Look Forward to the Color Me Happy Shampoo/Conditioner reviews!

Review: Drama Clean Shampoo Herbal Essences

Drama Clean Shampoo From Herbal Essences: 10/10
Claims: Leaves hair shiny, clean, oil free, and totally weight free!(almost); The claims are actually correct. This does everything it says it will. 2/2
Scent: Green tea and Flowers; The scent smells so refreshing and clean! THe strong green tea scent is toned down with a scent of Orchids or Roses (i forgot) luv in shampoo form. 2/2
Texture of Product: the product itself is a gel like substance. Not a cream like the Hello Hydration but tranclusent like a gel. I find that the product lathers and creates more bubbles than the cream shampoos. thus i feel that is cleans my hair more than others. 2 points!
Texture of Hair: My hair is silky, clean and flouncy after my shower when i use this.  it does not create split ends and does not dry my hair out. It cleans so well that I didn't need to wash everyday! 2/2
Performance: With clean hair, a great scent, and amazing results, I say 2/2

Hope you loved it! Tell me if you try it out and look forward to the Drama Clean Conditioner review soon!

Nail Polish Trick

Do you have trouble getting glitter polish off of your nails? Still want that full glitter affect? Have a cream nail polish that just will not stick? Well here is your answer!

  1. Put on a base coat.

  2. Apply on the most thin but mostly solid color of a horrible nail polish on your nail. After it has dried, apply one more but not a third.

  3. Put on as many glitter polish coats onto the nail for a cool new color, easier take off and less polish wasting (not to mention money!)

  4. Finish off with a nice top coat and let dry completely!

Suggestions:

  • Revlon-Pink Ice w/ Sinful Colors-I Miss You

  • Revlon-Cherries in the Snow w/ Wet n Wild-Party with 6 Glitters

  • Revlon-Winter Skies w/ Sally Hanson-Celeb City

Luv yall!

Accomplished Item # 18-25

18. The Secret Rites of Social Butterflies by Lizabeth Zindel I absolutely loved reading this book! It really showed how some people act in High School just to be popular.  The main girl deals with most of the situation very well and can help others from acting the same way.  Zindel is such a great writer! I love how even at the very first chapter I hung on every word! Those kind of books are so much nicer than slow ones obviously! Definatly a must read for those in or close to going to High School. 10/10
19. Eleven; Twelve; Thirteen; Thirteen Plus One by Lauren Myracle I loved these. Lauren Myracle is one of my favorite authors! She writes in a way so that you feel that you are in the same car or YOU are the best friend. Here is my review on each one. Eleven: This book was sooo easy to read! I finished it in the same day as I started! One chapter is one month so it is pretty easy to keep track of whats happening. Twelve: This is the book where Winnie gets bras and her period. The other books have nothing to do with the subjects. I was laughing in this one and even Judy Blume was promoted! This one is also an easy read. I finished it very quickly! Thirteen: This book was much more meaty. It had the same chapter system so it was nice to keep track of the things going on! The book is mostly about Winnie's boyfriend. Thirteen Plus One: The chapter system is very different. This is only Winnie's summer when she is 14. Each chapter is part of a list that she makes. In the chapter, the thing gets completed on her list is also the name. I loved this and was a great conclusion to the series. 10/10
20. Ever by Gail Carson Levine Great book absolutely! Each chapter is switched off from one character to another! Basically a god falls in love with a mortal woman and the woman falls for him but they cant live together so they go though trials and hardship. It starts slow but ends in an awesome way! a must read! 9/10
21. Legally Blonde Super cute, fun and meaningful! I adore the development off the characters with her going to law school and everyone working for the better.  Well almost everyone!  Just a super awesome movie and I cant wait to see the next one! 10/10
22. Hoot This was a cute movie that I have been wanting to see this movie since it came out!  I have to admit I was hoping for better but I am pretty sure that I will see it again but it was a little slow in the beginning and I had to keep on stopping and explaining to my 7 year old brother.  So cute movie and I want to see it again to see if I like it better! 8/10
23. Singing in the Rain Ahhhhhh! I am in love with this movie!!!! It was good from the main menu to the end credits! Gene Kelly was such an amazing dance and I love him sooooooo much! Absolutely a MUST SEE!!!!!! 15/10 (lol)
24. Mama Mia Again just another magical experience! I am going to watch this movie after this post...This is one of thee most amazing movies I have ever watched!!! The story, the sangs, the everything! ahhhh... 15/10
25. National Treasure; National Treasure 2 I loved these movies also and I own the first National Treasure and I would definitely love to get the second one! The intense mystery and the surprising answers! Did I tell you that I am a sucker for intense mystery stories?  Well I am! love this movie definitely check it out! 10/10
Well time to watch Mama Mia! luv u all!
