Haul 19-Maybelline

At Ulta, there was a buy 2, get 1 free dealio and I also had a $3.50 off of $10 so I went remembering the 3 things I wanted. So I got them for $15+tax!

  1. Dream Bouncy Blush in 10 Pink Frosting- One word: gorgeous. It is opalescent and pink and bright but sheer and the texture feels amazing! I cant wait to use it tomorrow!

  2. 24hr Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in 05 Too Cool- Now I really, really, really wanted Bold Gold but Ulta was out...So I looked for Bad to the Bronze and guess what? That was out as well. This one was the last of the Too Cools so I was lucky! But I will get the other two for sure because this is so wonderful...

  3. Define-a-Brow Eyebrow Pencil in 647 Light Blonde- This was the free item which is good because it is $2 more that Walmart and I think that is really weird...I think that this will work but if you want me to do a review, go ahead and comment or email me!

Comments are welcome! Love y'all!

Glam Bag! February 2012

The bag is hot pink fuchsia with a bunch of little black hearts! So cute!
  • The first thing is a $100 gift card to Nu Me Styling Tools. The sad thing is that the cheapest thing is $150...And it expires!
  • Freeman Facial Hydration Mask with Goji Berry. It is just a sample but I love Freeman!
  • Premier(by Dead Sea Premiere) Cinderella Mask and Serum. they reduce fine lines and wrinkles but I don't have them so they are going to my mom.
  • X Out Shine Control. I don't know it this is primer or something but I have never heard of this brand. Do you guys like it?
  • NYX Roll On Shimmer in Light Blue. This is so good! I cant wait to try it and it is glittery but not chunky and I don't get fallout! Best part of the whole bag!
SO this bag kinda disappointed me but that is okay because I get the cute bag! And a few awesome things! Have you tried any of these products?

Happy Presidents Day everyone! Enjoying the day off? Getting that homework done? Yeah, me neither...Anywho, I was looking through Ultas latest catalog and saw the O.P.I. Holland Collection and wanted to tell you what I think!

Dutch'ya Just Love OPI?, Pedal Faster Suzi! and I have a Herring Problem are okay but the whole thing is a little expensive...If I had the money, I would get them.

In's and Out's 2-17-12

IN'S:

  • Mineral Makeup-I have been using Maybelline Mineral Powder Powder Foundation to set L'Oreal True Match Foundation. So pretty!

  • Matchy Matchy!-I base my eyeshadow on my earring colors. If there is gold, purple, and blue in my earring, I wear blue and purple in my eyemakeup. I love doing thick black eyeliner with black hearts.

  • Puzzles-My little brother started a 1000 piece puzzle with kitties and it is so difficult but fun to pass the time!

  • My New Cat!-Her name is Muffin and we resqued her. She is probably under 1 year old and is so skinny it makes me want to cry. She has pumpkin eyes and gray and orange coloring! So gorgeous!

OUT'S:

  • Snow+Cars-The snow here has been aweful...One of my cars had to be towed and repaired and it was really anoying...

  • Hurting Joints-My knees ache...Do very, very much. It is even hard to go up and down stairs!

That is it! Much love!

Review: Wet 'n' Wild MegaPlump Mascara

I got this in a kit from WNW a while ago at Walgreens. It had the I'm Getting Sunburned trio, a Mega Shine gloss, the Color Icon eyeliner in Black, and this. This mascara is amazing. It is not waterproof but it doesn't flake, smudge or come off during the day easily. The brush is reasonably sized and works well with my lashes. It is almost gone which is sad but the fact that it is still there is amazing! I use this everyday, and when I got over to friends houses! I would love to purchase the full size, water proof one soon!

Pros: pigmented, good brush, inexpensive, lasts long, lengthens and volumizes!
Cons: I would day that it isn't waterproof but it is not so that doesn't count...I might reapply during the day but only on active ones.

Drugstore Foundation Overview

Happy National Weatherperson's Day! <----- *look it up* I didn't really know what to do today so I thought that it would be fun to "talk". Drugstore foundations. The only kinds I have used. Here are the ones that I have right now and you tell me which ones you have and what you think!
  • Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse in Porcelain Ivory. a very lightweight, clean look and feel while still having some fairly good coverag. This is my favorite foundation to use as a tinted moistuizer to lighten it up.
  • L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation in C1. Super blendable and nice and it lookes even better with the maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse. I like using a brush because if you dont it looks streaky and uneven. if I need a good foundation, I go to this one!
  • Cover Girl Clean Liquid Foundation in 225 Buff Beige. THis is way to dark for me becasue it is for dance recitles so it has to be darker or my face would look pastey white.
  • Almay Smart Shade Foundation in 100. This is more like a tinted moistuizer that is perfect for school because you can blend it with your fingers! And it looks good that way! I would reperchase.
  • Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation in 125. This is a powder foundation because the color is darker than what I would be. It is not as pigmented and is probably perfect for setting the liquid, which I dont have. It is really light and doesnt last long on its own so I only use it for setting or at home days. I dont think that I would reperchase.

Color Workshop 12-Pan Palettes

Here is the colorful palette with 2 shades taken out because they were beautiful but had no pigment and made me sad when I forgot and tried to use them...Here are the descriptions from top row to bottom, left to right: Shimmery white, pale lavender, empty, navy with deep blue shimmer, baby pink, empty, medium dark chocolate brown with purple undertones, blue with gold and silver glitter, dusty meduim pink with silver glitter, grape, deep purple taupe with brown shimmer, deep green with silver glitter.
In This picture, the meduim pink is a lot darker that it looks, the brown next to the glittery blue is not orange, and the green looks green not black. Yes the white is extremly not pigmented but that makes it look even better in the brown bone or inner corner. The navy adn green are beautiful as liners as is the purple taupe next to the grape color. I have been wearing the first and second column latley and hit pan on the meduim pink!
This is the most used neautrals. The only two without pan showing are the ones taht I dont like at all. The colors dont flatter me. Color descriptions are from top to bottom, left to right: Shimmery off-white, matte light peach, empty, taupe with green and yellow, shimmery creamy gray, orangey peach/pink with shimmer, empty, true gold, empty, empty, deep chocolate brown with silver glitter, empty.
The off-white, matte peach, and gray are hard to see in the light but they are wonderful highlights. The other four are fairly easy to see, but the gold looks orange...It is not orange it is a gorgeous gold! everything else is pretty true to color but the brown is a little darker.

They are mostly really nice and they really helped me when I was first starting out with makeup. Which one is your favorite?

Going Greener: Garbage Gatherer

Garbage Gatherer!

One of the best ways to help the planet is to gather garbage from our earth and put it where it belongs! Just remember these things before you go!

1. Places: Anywhere there is people, there will be trash. Parks, your yard, or a street, would be great places to start. Parks with trash can allow little chidlers to pick something up chew or eat it then get sick! Your own yard could have trash that, doesnt look good, hurts animals, etc. A street would be better to walk on if there is no disgusting crap all around!

2. Preparation: Gloves, bags, good shoes and protective clothing (no shorts or tank tops) are musts. You can know what was going on with the garbage before you found it. I suggest if you are on a street, to wear gloves that dont get cut by glass.

3. Prevention: Don't do what these people did! Don't throw stuff on the street,on your yard, or in the park! In the trash or recycling bin.

First Impressions:Tresseme 24-Hour Body Shampoo/Conditoner

Before: I can never wear my hair in a bun or ponytail without looking like I have no hair. It is hard to add volume even with a hairdryer or hairspray because the amount of hair weighs it down, and I don't like teasing! I picked this up hoping for bouncier, more voluminous hair.

Day 1: I found that for my length of hair, I need two pumps of shampoo and the same amount of conditioner. I just washed my hair normally and with the conditioner, I worked most of it from mid-shaft down and then the rest in my roots. Left it for 2 minutes and rinsed. I instantly felt more bounce and body in my hair. I left it down when I went to an appointment and then put it in a bun when it was dry. OMG I never expected this to make a bun look good on me! It also brought out some natural texture and curl!

Day 2: After the second day of washing, I realized how soft my hair was after the conditioner. Very! I could literally feel the shampoo make my hair voluminous! lol I love how this cleans without over drying! The conditioner makes your hair feel like silk!

Day 3: I noticed that I has some major flyaways when my hair dried but I used some anti-frizz and it was much better. I love the shine!

Day 4: This is definitely a 24-30 hour shampoo. I noticed that the volume was lacking later in the day that I didn't wash it. Although, I believe that I brushed and pulled down too much, so as long as you don't do that, you should be fine.

Day 5: I skipped a day washing my hair again and didn't pull down. It was perfectly fine! long lasting volume and awesome silkiness!

Day 6: How surprising it is how this holds curl! I am so surprised how bad the conditioner smells though. The smell doesn't last and works so well, it is so worth it!

Day 7: Last day. I was rushed through my shower but I still think that the results are significant! If you want body, or your body doesn't last, at least try this out! It is not expensive and you can buy it in bigger containers at a smaller price at Sam's Club. "<0> <3 U (i love you)

  • Hard Candy Eye Primer This is mildly tacky wich was great for powdery eyeshadows and lasted all day! I wish it was sold sepratley, but oh well!
  • Cover Girl & Olay Potted Concealer I used this with the MK Crease Brush and It made my dark circles go away...Nearly. It lasted so long and warms up easily and blends and dries to kind of a powder finish.
