CMA Dance Camp-Day Five

Activities:
1. Dress Rehearsal

1. We were practicing our dances on the stage.


2. This is where different people talk to us about different countries. We "traveled" to Peru, China, and Uganda.


3. We performed for an audience of one! Jesus!

1. We finished our dance!


2. We got to perform our dances at the Nursing Home and talked to them afterwards


3. We learned how to be different characters. I was an 18 year old who was studying for veterinarian school.


4. This is basically having one on one time with God and something was actually revealed to me!

1. I actually had to miss this class because my mom had food poisoning but it really is only running, crunching, push-ups, running, crunching, push-ups, etc. So i am really thankful.


2. This was a talk about how we should keep ourselves pure and how the teacher, Alyssa Robbins, her husband was her first kiss, boyfriend, everything. I think that that is so cool.


3. We only have 20sec. left in our dance!!! i am very excited because tomorrow we are performing at a Nursing Home.

CMA Dance Camp-Day Two

4. Choreography Clinic

1. We got 2min. 30sec. done in a 4min. song. I cant wait until i learn the rest!


2. The outreach project was where my class and another one made mini parachutes. They are going to use these to drop Bibles out a plane into the jungles of Columbia to reach the Gorilla Fighters. it was awesome.


3. This was just doing some across the floor, bar, and middle moves that were hard but fun!


4. I danced to We Live by Superchik and my mom took a video of me and I probably wont do it in a performance but i might!

CMA Dance Camp-Day One

1. We learned a whole minute of our dance which is The Voice of Truth by Casting Crowns. It has a lot of knee work so it can be painful using my knees. But I can't wait until tomorrow for another day of dancing!


2. This class the the hardest so far. It includes a lot of stepping up and down on chairs, leaping off of them, and going up and down on my knees. Some of the moves were stepping up on the chair into an attitude, running to another chair, doing a grande bat ma, stepping on another and falling off...It was hard!


3. Israeli is my favorite of all of them by far! It is where Israeli Celebration Dancers come and teach us some dances and it takes so much work but it is all worth it!


4. Teacher's forum is where the teachers/staff tell girls how they can be better teachers of dance and in general. It also tells them what they want at the auditions of your own choreographed dance. I will try to post a video of my dance tomorrow!

My Challenge and Decision

Decision: i will not buy the cheapest makeup available and will buy more costly and better makeup, skincare, hair care, and nail supplies. E.L.F. is different(aka doesn't really count).

Challenge: I will finish up 2-3 bottles of polish before buying another. I am going to use only my cheap palettes every day for a couple weeks before I use another. After i finish my Project 10 Pan, I will only buy what I need (no eyeshadow, liquid foundation/tinted moisturizer, only certain lip products). I can buy lip balm though.

I am really happy that i thought of this challenge and I have been using different ones each day for 3 days now but it is pretty hard. I am going to use the same palette for the rest of June. I am a little scared because there are only 12 shadows that i can use but 2 of them don't work.

#8: Cindy Ella by Robin Palmer; 10/10

This book is an amazing fairytale/non-fairytale book! in the end you can definitely feel the fairytale ness of it. the character development of it is truly amazing. the story of an un-popular anti-prom person and a popular anti-prom person really is more interesting than you think. the book does have gay men in it but they are a huge part of the story and add mucho humor too the situation. having an enjoyable book needs anticipation and this book really did have that. sob all in all......i loved it!

The Library!!!!!

i was thinking about how i would finish the movie list that RMR gave me this summer and i figured out how: i will borrow from the library! i mean that is how i get all of my books! why not movies too? so i put Holes, Hoot, Step Up 1 2 and 3, While You Were Sleeping, Legally Blonde, The Blind Side, Kate and Leopold, Only You, Mama Mia, She's the Man, and Chocolat on y waiting list. They are all from #1 to #11 on my waiting list. I will have much fun with all of these movies having a marathon. How bout you do the same and have a marathon with friends?

I Have Been Ignoring You...

sorry! I am not trying to not write more often, but I have been so busy cleaning my house that I want to vegetate after a long day. I also had a performance a few days ago that went pretty well but not the best because I sprained my ankle.
Life has been so confusing and I am really thinking about having a blog about beauty, makeup, and beauty! But that includes inner and outer beauty...I really hope that once i get it, you will look at the stuff I like to say.

My Weird Obsesion...

Books...i don't know why but I have been losing myself inside the magic of reading. Every morning i read for an hour or two. Someone tell me why! Jk, jk. I love finishing books. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Boys love video games because it makes them feel like they accomplished something and to get out their violence...But i am not like that partly because i am a girl. All the accomplishment I need is in a finished book, new manicure, or finish something in-the-making. What makes you feel important and accomplished?

Super Sparkly-ness!

I love sparkles! They are so fun! If it is eyeshadow, nail polish, or hair spray, it is awesome if it is glittery. I just painted my nails with pure blue glitter and i really love it because it is like a blue polish but it is glitter!

Accomplished Item # 7

#7: the perfect number...
anyhoo! i finished a book and cannot wait to continue another. Oh. My. Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs is now finished! it was such a cool story and a surprise at the end. Now i know why Nike shoes have that name. (ain't it stinky of me to taunt you? XD) One thing that i truly loved were the IM chats the girls in the story were having. it added character and was much more easy to understand what they were saying. Character development was some of the best i have ever read and i look forward to reading more by Tera Lynn Childs.
Bottom Line:9/10
there is mucho swearing so anyone who's parents don't like swearing in books, ask before you borrow. if not or your like a teen or something, sure.

New Skin Care Line

Right now i have been using the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Line. I have a toner, scrub, lotion, and wash.
The toner is Equate's Astringent that i have already use. It is blue and you probably have seen it before.
The scrub is the Morning Burst regular line that is orange. Most of the beads dont pop but some of them do and it is so refreshing. The scent of oranges is such a nice scent that i just love to use it for that reason.
The lotion i am using is Morning glow with spf 15. it is also from the original line. Because of this it has the lovely citrus scent.
My new favorite wash is the Morning Burst Skin Brightening line which is yellow. It has the lovely smell of lemons and papaya with some caffeine in there. I cannot wait to try the regular line of facial wash.

Haul-12 skin care

the skin care items that i got are a must. i have no scrub and very little toner, cleanser or lotion.
This item is the only one not from Clean and Clear because it is a knockoff: Equate's Astringent. All the rest are from Clean and Clear. First i got the skin brightening cleanser from morning burst. Then the regular Morning Burst scrub. the last thing is a Morning bust lotion in regular with spf 15.

R.O.B.B.S. #2-Just Ella and other stuff

i have finished Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It is such a charming story with a cute ending that makes me want to read Palace of Mirrors which is a sequel to Just Ella.
it only took me 34 hours and 15 minutes to read start to finish! that is, like, a new record or something! so now i am reading Oh.My.Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs. i was excited to get this book because i have been trying to find it since my first visit to the library after receiving the list from RMR. i tried to find Goddess Boot Camp, but i could not find it either!
i swear (and don't take this negatively!) there is someone where i live who is reading my blog! it is exciting and i wont reveal the info of where i live but it would be nice to get some followers! if you have a facebook, twitter, Gmail, YouTube, or blogger account you can follow!
anyway.....to the book!

even though it did have good characters and drew me into the story, the plot line was a little-expected. i kinda knew what was gonna happen to Jed, Ella and her family. even though it does have a very big twist and a few more turns during the end, everything was a little too tattling(???). but i definitely like this story!
