Who has read anything by Robin Palmer? I have read one of her books and now I am totally hooked! What is your favorite Veggie Tale movie if you watch them? My favorite is now It's a Meaningful Life which is based off of the movie It's a Wonderful Life. Does anyone still watch cartoons like Looney Tunes, Veggie Tales, of something else or am I the only one??? If you are a girl, what is your favorite makeup brand, and if you are a boy, what is your favorite sport or sports figure? My favorite drugstore brand is Maybelline, and department store is either Urban Decay or Too Faced. My favorite sport is volleyball.

#5: Geek Charming by Robin Palmer

Rating: 10/10

With a wonderful story that is, in itself, a little fairy tale. Unlike one that i can think of right now, there is no fairy tale with the same story line as this book making it a fun and exciting read.

Hint: every other chapter is from either Josh's of Dylan's point of view (ex. Chapter 1: Dylan, Chapter 2: Josh, Chapter 3: Dylan, etc.)

I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait to read Cindy Ella. (Geek Charming #11 on list)

#6: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt

Rating: 9/10

The only reason that it does not 10/10 is because the beginning can be very slow....But after you get past the slower parts, it turns into a wonderful story with great meaning. Although, being a 2 hour and 45 minute movie, you can see where i am coming from. (#27 on list)

i am a 10. the auditions went great except for a few "dancers". there was one who i really loved and i cant wait for next week!

R.I.P. Goldzilla

Last night, my fish past away. He was starting to act really sick and he would not move around anymore. This behavior started when some dark green/blue "algae" started to grow around the tank. We soon discovered that it was not algae, but it was bacteria. So we got some salts, which kills bacteria, and it helped so much we thought that he was better. The bacteria was weakening his immune system and it did not help that we were not feeding him fresh vegetables and meats.

A book that my mom got from the Library said that we were not feeding him the correct diet. Apparently, fish live for as long as cats and dogs if you keep them correctly. So from then, he started to curl up and just sit in a corner. We tried to get some help from some "professionals" , and received help that was not even close to the problem. So now Goldzilla will always have a place in my heart and i just wish i could have spent more time caring for him. This was really hard for my mom because she was the main care taker.

I just remember that he is happy now in fish-heaven with no more bad bacteria and lots of good food to eat. The next fish that we have will live a much longer and better life.

We will miss you Mr. Fishy. R.I.P. [xoxoxoxo =*( ]

Girl whose nickname is Beauty finds herself at an enchanted castle away from her sisters and dad after he came home with a promise he made to the Beast. Being accompanied by only friendly winds and a few birds, she spends most of her time with her horse, Greatheart, and in the library studying. With growing affection for the Beast, she learns that she must tame the wild man and came to a surprising secret.

Plot:

10/10

With a classic story, how can you go wrong? The classic story and a little twist here and there, makes a great book with easy-to-read properties. Although, the grammar includes most of the 6th to 7th grade words I learned these previous years.

The character development in the book is amazing. People go from one point on the spectrum to the other. I like how it tells you what is going on with Beauty's family. everyone had character development, including the magical winds!

I loved this book and I cannot wait to read another book by the same author: Pegasus

New Balance shoes

Hey guys! I went shoe shopping with my mom and we found the best shoes for me. I have a very high arch. This makes it very hard to find shoes that give good support. The shoes I have are just regular walking shoes that are white with periwinkle trim. They are not meant for special toning or training shoes, cause I tried one pair on I twisted my ankle :( But so far they are pretty amazing. Sadly I have to get inserts cause it is still not high enough, but at least they are okay for now. there should be a picture from the net but if their isn't then i am really sorry!

Last Day of School!!!

it was the last day of school today! now we just have Feild Day tomarrow and that is it!!

as soon as school is done tomorrow. i am starting a project ten/fifteen pan. i will update you on the 20th. i cant wait to go to Forever XXI and get some shoes, clothes, and earrings.

i am going to tell u giis about the list i want to complete this summer. i calculated(i sound so smart!)98 days of summer, so i am going to plan 100 things to do. but i have to finish by the time i go to bed tomorrow. i already have 50, but i really want to find 50 more. one of them is that i want to finish the movie list from my friend, RMR.

oh oh oh oh! So You Think You Can Dance is coming back on the 26! are you excited? i am excited! that is my favorite show and cant wait to meet the people and vote for my favorite.

Theft-This is Serious

i have recently had something stolen from me: the black flower ring i wore to the talent show and the social. it was stolen from a friend and this could happen to anyone...

i was wearing it to school one day when my friends were joking about how they are going to "steal it from Me because if its beauty". one "friend" was not joking. only three girls out of six were at school that day. when we needed to change out for P.E., i went to the big bathroom with SAS. i wore my ring and took it off while i was changing. afterwards, everyone had left, and it was only SAS and me. i put my ring down and went into a smaller stall and went to the bathroom. i am not used to wearing a rings so i forgot it. i was wondering where it was until SAS wore it to school on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in front of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i asked her if i could see it, she said "No it is not yours!" if that does not say "Hey, I stole this from you!" than what does? she will not look me in the eye and always gives me guilty looks. that ring was so expensive for me.

have you ever had something stolen from you???
BTW she is not my friend anymore. SAS if you are reading this, i will not miss you next year...

Freaking AWESOME Brand!

do you ever search for a lipgloss that:

• is afordable


• has good quality


• smells good


• is not chunky


• has very good pigmentation


• is over all wonderful?

then you have been searching for Jordana. i really wanted to try something and i found a $2 blood red lip gloss that has a super glossy finish but looks like a lipstick underneath one.

it has some glitter, but it is not chunky at all. it also smells like Laffy Taffy without the chemical after scent. i took the applicator out and expected it to be very sheer and chunky, but it had so much pigmentation that i almost jumped with surprise! definitely try it out.

PS. the color i have is 09 Gorgeous

snow in the summer

where i live there is snow everywhere!!! at my school, it is snowing down hard! now we have six days left of school and then we get out for SUMMER break. why is still snowing??? oh Jesus, you have funny ways of humor. hows the weather out there?

Four Hours of HOMEWORK????

thats right guys...four hours. last night, i spent four hours doing math lessons and a vocabulary unit. then i had reading and writing, science, P.E., and hsitory to do.

this is a major issue for me because, being a kid, we need to have fun and be treated like we are middle schoolers. there is a lady that is subbing for a teacher tomorrow who is in masters degree college and has less homework that the sixth graders. teachers usually treat middle schoolers like they are in first grade or a junior in high school.

how does everyone cope with this? i am in seventh grade. i have to study often for Final Exams. not just a test but a 14-page long science test(no joke our teacher told us today). when high schoolers talk about finals and i join they are always surprised that i have finals.

there is so much pressure to be perfect at the school when they are telling parents that they are teaching the kids to be themselves. sometimes it does not feel true.

hey i went to target today and since i had a gift card, i got a few things.

• first i went to the dollar section. i got a little pail that is pink, blue, and yellow tyedye and i am going to keep lip glosses or Elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick in there.


• next in the dollar store, i saw some paper baskets. one had yellow, orange, pink, and red stripes on white, blue boxy swirls on white, navy and blue dot flower formation in blue, and red, yellow, pink, and orange teardrop shape flowers in side circles on white.


• 6then i went to the elf section....i got a few things. first i got the custom compact.


• then i got three eye shadows:pink ice, mocha, and wisteria. pink ice is pinky cream which is so pretty. mocha is a beautiful shimmering brown/copper. wisteria is a dusty lilac. they are so soft.


• then i got the pro tweezers


• the last thing that i got was a studio blush in pink passion. it a bright/baby pink

hey i actually finished 4 items on the list before i hardly started.

i finished the following: 16. the Pursuit of Happiness 36. Marley and Me 37. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe/Prince Caspian/The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

the pursuit of happiness was really good. Will and Jayden Smith were pretty amazing actors (isn't Jayden cute with his little afro???) the directing and little bits of fun were really meaningful.

Marley and Me was a super cute movie! it is sweet how he just grew up with the people and died with the people that he loved. the movie actually made me and the rest of my family cry! the only person who didn't watch it was my big brother.

The Narnia movies were amazing! they did not follow the books very closely but it was just as good as them. i cant wait to own them and watch them again!

Update: i just got 2 books yesterday. they are both by Robin McKinley and the first one that i am reading is Beauty: a Retelling of Beauty and the Beast. the other book by her is Pegasus. i cant wait until i finish these and start another one. thank you friend for sending me the list!!!

Nail Tutorial

Look: Purple With Glam Sparkles

Polishes:

• top/base coat







• Prince Street by N.Y.C.(any purple)




• Starry Silver Glitter by N.Y.C.

Steps:

1. Apply base coat and let dry




2. Apply two coats of the purple polish or more if needed




3. after the purple is dry, apply one coat of the glitter to all of your nails. make sure that you get plenty of "chunks".




4. if needed, apply a top coat.

Recipe: Movie Night with the Girls

Popcorn with a Sweet Twist

Materials:

1. 
   
   popcorn


2. 
   
   vanilla frosting


3. 
   
   microwavable bowl


4. 
   
   spoon


5. 
   
   another bowl

Procedure:

1. 
   
   pop the popcorn and place in a bowl.


2. 
   
   spoon 1/2 cup vanilla frosting into a microwavable bowl


3. 
   
   place in the microwave for 15-20 seconds(until nicely melted)


4. 
   
   take out of microwave and dip popcorn in to the frosting and enjoy!!!

Birthday Blog!!!

hey hey hey! my birthday was the 26 and i am a teenager. anyway i wanted to tell you guys what my birthday party which was the 28-29. the 28 i had one friend come over for a sleep over. we watched the Shining which was actually quite funny compared to other horror movies.

• funny incident: i was delusional and knew that someone or something would scare me. then as i was gazing over my pillow...a gray face comes rushing at me! it was my baby kitty(not really). so yes i was scared to death by my cat! gotta love her.
  
  

we had popcorn dipped in melted vanilla frosting. i love this combination. i will post something about it soon. then i could not sleep for so long.

• just saying, i was not scared, i just could not sleep. it might have been the bed i was sleeping on or the fact that my stomach was eating itself alive from too little acid(bases burn more than acids sometimes).
  
  

the next morning, we were supposed to wake up at 10:00am but we woke up at nine so we had an hour to kill. we decided to watch Spongebob and then played keep away with my little brother. at 10, we did our makeup, put the bed away, and got dressed. then a fried came. my brother was changing his bed so that is what he was doing. as soon as that was done, we all went(except my b. brother) to India's Clay Oven after we picked up another friend. my dad met us at the buffet and we all ate so much food.

then, we went to see the movie Rango. it was so super cute. then afterwards, we went home and hung out. for a cake, i had a cheesecake with strawberries. then for presents...

• from on friend, i got a $25 gift card for Target.




• another friend got me a $10 gift card for Walmart, two slinky bracelets, and two nail polishes from n.y.c. cosmetics in 206B East Village and 247 Prince Street.




• i got the nail polish from n.y.c. cosmetics 105 Starry Silver (glitter) from the friend who gave me an eyeliner in 925 Sable from N.Y.C. Cosmetics, Hard Candy creme glitter eyeshadow/eyeliner in pixie, n.y.c. cosmetics lip glider lip gloss in 519U Park Ave Pink, and Smackers eyeshadow in Pool Party Blues.
  
  


• the friend who slept over gave me a cow (now named Hobo), candy, a ballerina necklace in a black tutu on a silver chain, and a new journal. it is red with pale green polka dots and a wavy chocolate brown stripe across the top.




• my little brother went to Walmart and Gave me a little candle in my favorite scent, "Honeysuckle".
  
  

the last present is still on its way and i cant wait for it to arrive. i got the card from R.R. and i thought that it was so cute and heartfelt. thank you for the earasers too, R.R! then after we did presents, we wet upstairs to my brother's and my room to play "pass-the-fuzzy-ball-without-destroying-Strawberrie's-room". but then everyone had to go home. so it was pretty fun and i hope that we can get together soon.
