thats right guys...four hours. last night, i spent four hours doing math lessons and a vocabulary unit. then i had reading and writing, science, P.E., and hsitory to do.
this is a major issue for me because, being a kid, we need to have fun and be treated like we are middle schoolers. there is a lady that is subbing for a teacher tomorrow who is in masters degree college and has less homework that the sixth graders. teachers usually treat middle schoolers like they are in first grade or a junior in high school.
how does everyone cope with this? i am in seventh grade. i have to study often for Final Exams. not just a test but a 14-page long science test(no joke our teacher told us today). when high schoolers talk about finals and i join they are always surprised that i have finals.
there is so much pressure to be perfect at the school when they are telling parents that they are teaching the kids to be themselves. sometimes it does not feel true.
