- Cleanser or Scrub-Now you can do either one first. I prefer to scrub first. After you remove your makeup or wake up, wash your face thoroughly with one of the items. Do not be harsh! Just keep working the cleanser or scrub into your skin and rinse very well. If you scrub first, then it will get all the dead skin cells off and make your cleanser work better, but is better if you do this first thing in the morning. If you use the cleanser first, then it gets makeup, dirt oil and that junk so that the scrub can work better.
- Mask-'Tis the time to do the mask part of the facial. You can use one of Freeman's great masks like the Cucumber Peel-Off or the Avocado Oatmeal Clay Mask, or a mini one in the packets. There is the option of creating your own which is fun but can be hard! I suggest pressing a warm damp washcloth to your face for About 30 seconds to open the pores so the mask really works. Then apply a layer of the mask with a spatula or your fingers and wait for it to dry or get to the texture it needs to be to take off. To take off, if it is completely dry, use a moist towel with warm water to take it off. If it is not completely dry, use your fingers to get the majority or it off then use the same towel technique. Splash face with warm water.
- Tone and Moisturize-After the mask is off, use a toner to clean any residue out of your pores and to prevent future breakouts. After this step, moisturize using a cream, facial lotion, or a pure coconut oil. Fan your face until you are refreshed and the lotion is dry.
This blog is basically about me and what I love. I have art, makeup, books and other awesome stuff to read.
