Review: Elf Single Eyeshadow~Mocha

Mocha Is the perfect name for this because it looked like a coffee chocolate combo with golden shimmers and undertones. On some skin tones this can appear orange and that was why in a lot of reviews others did not like this. I personally love how this looks!

The swatch is remarkable ain't it?It looks exactly like it does in the pan, but with less golden shimmers making it absolutely beautiful. I do believe that other brands have this color but not many brands have the same affect and texture as this. The texture is great!

For one dollar who can go wrong? I extremely recommend this because this is a great staple in your collection!

Pros: pigmented, beautiful, long lasting, awesome texture, not powdery, no fallout

Cons: may not look good on everyone....but it works for me!

Review: Elf Single Eyeshadow~Dusk

Very dark gray w/multicolor glitter and slight blue undertone. This is perfect for setting eyeliner, using for a smokey eye, or use just a dab for the outer corner/crease. Great deal for $1!

Here is the swatch. It will not come off looking exactly like it is in the pan, but it is buildable. One of the only downsides is how glitter there is.....

it had the same texture of the others except a glittery feel. The glitter also causes fallout but it is easy to work with nonetheless!

Pros: buildable, pigmented, perfect for setting eyeliner and it is long lasting

Cons: The glitter. it is difficult. and there is fallout

9/10

Review: Elf Single Eyeshadow~Pink Ice

This eyeshadow is perfect for a highlight or light lid color. The baby pink is not to intense so it will work for many skin tones. It is also $1! It is not very powdery at all and had a creamy, buttery texture. It does have little golden reflects but it doesn't look bad.

Here is the swatch. As you can see there is not much glitter in this product and it is a nicely pigmented light color.

These are much bigger than Mac shadows but the shade variety is limited. This shade was hard to find from other brands so I definitely recommend this.

Pros: inexpensive, pigmented, not very powdery, no fallout, good texture, long lasting (w/primer)

Cons: ummmmmm.......none!

Review: Neutragena Moisture Shine Gloss-Fruity Pink

Sample of Fruity Pink. Comes with Pink Grapefruit Scrub-$9
This stuff is interesting.  It has so much glitter in this lip gloss, it looks like you put on some glitter that morning and ran out the door when the gloss goes away.  This could be fixed by just reapplying but then there is the smell. It smells like fruity fart when it was first opened. No joke. after about 3 weeks tho the gross smell went away and the fruity was good. There is definitely a large amount of chemical smell but got better.

2.1 grams in sample.

The color itself is good and I can handle everything about it but it turned me off really fast. but now I will start wearing it again. The doe foot applicator is quite nice compared to some that I have tried. It applies evenly and is not chunky/grainy.

Pros: It has a great color and the glitter is not chunky.  The lasting power of this gloss is spectacular compared to most. It applies well.
Cons: The smell is weird. The glitter is noticeable.
Bottom Line: 8/10 I would give It a try but try the smell every so often to let it air and smell better!
Luv y'all!
